Rover took special orders for all sorts of bizarre shit.
Convertibles were "built" by the special products group. Rag tops were made in the UK, Germany, France..... The German version was the best looking I think.(Con Moda or something like that was the name I think.) They had an actual bow and mechanism and did not use snaps to secure to the windshield frame. They were very "finished" looking. Brian's is one of the more "ham-fisted" conversions - it uses snaps and is more of a Jeep-like "tension" top.
