"These are the trails we did over labor day were on a private ranch near Fredericksburg, TX. The event was sponsored by some of the local Jeep clubs and consisted mostly of Jeeps. There were 3 D90s, 3 Discos and 1 Range Rover mixed in with all the Jeeps. The trails were rated "hard", "moderate" and "stock". The 2 trails we did with 2 of the D90s were rated "hard". "Hard" is an understatement. Almost all the vehicles in our group sustained damage of some sort including body damage. All the Jeeps were set up with lockers, body and chassis protection, 35 to 44 inch Bogger or Super Swamper tires, and big lifts. These were the big dogs! My puny, little 265/75-16 tires didn't hold a candle to those huge monsters. I almost backed out the second day of the run because of the difficulty of the trails. Alan Dobbs and Bill Ritchie (the other D90s in our group) and the trail leader talked me in to staying with them (he said the second day should be easier than the first--he lied!). All in all, I did have fun. I'm still not sure whether the Jeepers were impressed or just amused at the Discovery running with them on these extreme trails. "
