Body mount rust repair and rubber donut replacement have made it on to the to do list. Any reason I shouldn't add 1/2" ( half of an inch) of body lift while I'm at it?

they add lots of leverage to the body mounts when braking and make things not line up.
my opinion is they are unsafe and make the vehicle look cheap
I see the problem with my post. I'll edit it. I did mean half of one inch. Thanks for the input!I agree with Robert when the lift is the typical 1-2”, but in my experience a 1/2” body lift makes the vehicle easier to work on and improves tire clearance without affecting suspension geometry or introducing the any major negative side effects.
Way too ambitious for me but good to know. The truck I am parting now has a 2” body lift on it. It was a daily for many years and a trail truck. It had 3” spring lift as well. It caused zero issues over that time.
