Getting closer to being able to install an oil pressure gauge. Couldn't find a 1/2" 20 UNF banjo bolt but I had a 12 mm x 1.25 banjo bolt and the local hardware store had 1/2" 20 UNF nuts and bolts.
I'm almost embarassed to post this but I had an erratic blower issue (D1 so might not be relevant) and I doused the switch in contact cleaner. It's been golden since.
I used a Tridon EP26, LED compatible, flasher relay. Had to remove the case and file the edge of the pcb a bit to make it fit but it's been working great for 6 months now.

I couldn't help but pull the change drawer and have a look. I have 1 1/2" guages on order and I think they might even fit in the change cassette side by side (the washers in the photo are exactly 1 1/2"). This might be the best solution yet.
This scenario comes up at every oil change (unless you remove the accumulator and pre charge it as you would for a fresh engine). Never caused me any grief.
